Terms & Conditions

  • There is no charge to nominate
  • You may enter up to 3 categories
  • The competition is open to all UK-based businesses
  • Nominations can be submitted from the company itself or another party, so long as the application is completed fully and accurately, and the business or person nominated is aware of the entry and has corroborated the content in the application form
  • Information provided should be relevant to the company’s activities in the previous 24 months from point of nomination
  • All entries must be submitted online
  • Incomplete entries will not be accepted
  • The organiser will not be held liable for entries lost or delayed. You will receive confirmation of receipt of your online application by email, immediately or within a few hours. If you do not receive this confirmation, please email us on awards@islamchannel.tv
  • A sponsor cannot enter an award in the category that they are sponsoring
  • Entries will be judged by a panel of judges brought together by Islam Channel. Guideline and a scoring matrix are provided to the judges to ensure the process is fair
  • The judges will review the nominations and interview all the finalists three weeks prior to the ceremony. They will decide the winners based on the written submissions and interview
  • Shortlisted finalist will be announced on Monday 10th February 2020 via the website and email
  • Final judging will take place in the week commencing 2nd March 2020
  • The judging panel’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered
  • Winners will be announced only on the evening of the ceremony
  • Winners will be published on the website after the ceremony
  • The organisers reserve the right to broaden the entry categories if there are insufficient entries in any category. They also reserve the right to move applicants from one category to another if they believe it to be appropriate
  • The organiser reserves the right to disqualify an entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe that an entrant has breached any of the rules, any applicable law, any copyright law, or has otherwise infringed the intellectual property of any third party
  • The organiser reserves the right to change the judging deadlines should circumstances necessitate
  • By entering the competition, applicants agree that their data will be held on the Islam Channel database and website

Key Dates

Friday 31st January 2020

Nominations close. No entries will be received after this date

Wednesday 5th February 2020

The judges will review the applications and shortlist the finalists

Monday 10th February 2020

Shortlisted finalists will be announced

2nd - 3rd March 2020

The finalists will be interviewed by the Judges to decide the winners of each category

Ceremony & Tickets

Award Ceremony

Upon being shortlisted, entrants agree that at least one representative will be present at the Ceremony. All shortlisted candidates will be invited to join the Islam Channel Business Awards ceremony and will receive a complementary place to attend the awards on the 27th of March at the JW Marriott Hotel London. All nominees will be notified of the success of their entry into the shortlist by email.

Tickets

Additional tickets for the Ceremony must be purchased directly from the organisers with the associated Fee. All Fees must be received by the organisers before the Ceremony. Tickets are non-refundable.
