Celebrating creativity and commercial success in Muslim-friendly tourism

This award recognises businesses in the travel and tourism sector that have achieved both creative and commercial success while promoting responsible and Muslim-friendly tourism practices. It celebrates businesses, including tour operators, travel agents, and vacation suppliers, that have positively influenced the tourism landscape by catering to the specific needs of Muslim travellers.

Criteria

The judges will evaluate entries based on evidence of the following

Creativity and uniqueness in offerings

Customer satisfaction and repeat business

Impact on local and/or global Muslim-friendly tourism

Sustainability and ethical practices in Muslim-friendly tourism

Awards Entry Terms

Judging
Process

Nomination form comprises of 3 questions to be answered by nominees.
Each question is assigned a score. These scores will be combined to determine an overall score for each entry.
As part of the initial judging process, two judges assess each entry within its designated category.
A shortlist of five finalists will be determined based on the highest scores.
During April , each finalist undergoes final judging interviews conducted by two judges.
The final scoring process ultimately determines the winner.
Winners are announced at the awards ceremony.

Upon being shortlisted, Entrants agree that at least one representative will be present at the Ceremony. All shortlisted candidates will be invited to join the Islam Channel Business Awards ceremony and will receive one complimentary place to attend the awards on May 2025 in London.

All nominees will be notified of the success of their entry into the shortlist by email.

Tickets

Additional tickets for the Ceremony must be purchased directly from the Organisers with the associated Fee. All Fees must be received by the Organisers before the Ceremony. Tickets are non-refundable.

The Islam Channel Business Awards is the largest awards programme celebrating the accomplishments of the British Muslim business community.
